Alan Watkins drove his new Mark II Roadster for the first time.
I asked Alan, if he had as good a time at the event as I did and this is his response.

Yes I am absolutely delighted.
It has been hard to convey to non technical types what a miracle it is to me that
what was a pile of parts, many fabricated in house,
ran essentially perfectly on the first try.
Then I remember that given the crew building it
maybe I should not be surprised at all.
Driving it was much more fun and comfortable than I expected;
The handling is so predictable.
I wish I could do that every day; it is literally the most fun
I have had driving a car including the various open-wheel schools, the Ferrari 360 track car, etc. Alan Watkins Owner Mark II Roadster
